For most members, this is the first thread they write. Say who you are, where you are writing from, and what you grow, study or work on. Then say what you came to this forum to find out. Short is fine. The point is to make your next conversation easier.
Your location matters here. Almost every practical answer on this site, whether about the law or about growing, depends on the country you live in, its laws and its climate. When members know where you are, you get better answers in every other section of the forum. It also helps to say what you already know, so nobody spends time explaining steps you have already done.
Two things are worth knowing as you arrive. First, the forum is read in nine languages. Every article is written once in English and then translated, so you can read and post in your own language. The language switcher in the page header changes the whole page.
Second, the community rules apply here as they do in every section. That means no buying or selling, no advertising of cannabis, and no advertising aimed at any country outside Thailand. If you work in the trade, you can say what kind of business you work in. Do not post offers or prices.
Translator’s note: In Thailand, cannabis flower is a controlled herb under the Notification of the Ministry of Public Health Re: Controlled Herbs (Cannabis), B.E. 2568, in force since 26 June 2025. Advertising and online sale of flower are prohibited, so an introduction must never offer flower in any form.
There are no reference articles in this section yet, and there should not be. This section is for introductions.
To start, copy these four lines into a new thread and fill them in:
- Who and where: your forum name, plus your country and province or region.
- What you do: home grower, licensed farm, researcher or student, or the kind of business you work in.
- How you grow: indoor or outdoor, your growing medium, and what you have already tried.
- What you want to find out: one or two specific questions.
Translator’s note: If you grow in Thailand or Southeast Asia, four details change the answer most. Give your province and say whether you grow indoors or outdoors. Mention the season you are growing in, because the rainy season brings very humid air and more mould. Also say whether you are a licensed farm or a home grower. For example: “Somchai, Chiang Mai province. Home grower, outdoors in fabric pots. Second run; my first crop went mouldy in the rainy season. I want to know how to dry buds when the air is very humid.”
Post your four lines as a new thread in this section. Then ask your first question in the replies, or in the section that matches the topic.
