Hi everyone, this is the AZ Growshop Asia team. We stock the full Advanced Nutrients 8th Generation line in Thailand, and the question we hear most is simple: “Which bottle goes in which week?” Here is the full Advanced Nutrients 8th Gen video, followed by a plain map of the line.

What is in the 8th Gen line

Advanced Nutrients describes 8th Gen as a new platform, not a reformulation. The base is a 2-part powder, Cultivator Series 2 (CS2), with five liquid additives around it.

Product What it is (per Advanced Nutrients) When it is used
CS2 Prime Base nutrient, 13-0-0, calcium nitrate based Base feed with Push; every week except the last two weeks of flowering
CS2 Push Base nutrient, 0-11-24 plus magnesium and sulfur Base feed with Prime; every week
RSA (Rapid Silicic Acid) Soluble silicon, 13% Once a week, growth and flowering
BGR (Bigger Buds) Bloom booster, 0-1-3 From week 2 of flowering (week 3 or later on long cycles)
SB1 (Sensi Boost 1) Flowering additive; no guaranteed analysis published Throughout flowering
BFX (Bud Factor X) No NPK; willow bark extract 1%, magnesium 0.5%, surfactant Once a week
OVR (Overdrive) Calcium 6%, zero nitrogen Last two weeks before the flush

For doses, use the official 8th Gen feeding chart for your EC level. We recommend the Regular EC chart: Feeding Charts in Thai, Vietnamese & English | AZ Growshop Charts get updated, so we don’t copy the numbers here.

Three things that save a crop

  1. pH depends on your growing medium. Check the range for your medium on the official 8th Gen feeding chart.
  2. Don’t mix chart formats. Some charts are written for a liquid stock solution (mL), others for dry weight (g). A stock solution of about 120 g per litre holds about 0.12 g per mL, so 33.3 mL ≈ 4.0 g. Reading one as the other puts you off by about eight times.
  3. 8th Gen is its own program. The 3-part Cultivator Series and the pH Perfect line are still on sale, but don’t mix schedules between lines. If you are switching a running crop to 8th Gen, follow Advanced Nutrients’ official conversion guidance.

Over to you: if you have moved a crop from an older line to 8th Gen, what did you adjust first: your EC target, your pH, or the additive schedule?
