Photographs of plants, rooms and harvests, and the craft behind them: macro and focus stacking on trichomes, lighting a subject that lives under magenta light, colour correction, and getting a usable image out of a phone in a grow tent.
The recurring technical problem is the light. A room running a heavy red and blue spectrum wrecks white balance and hides exactly the colour information a diagnostic photograph needs, which is why a plant photographed under a neutral light source looks like a different plant. Macro work adds its own difficulty, since depth of field at high magnification is thin enough that stacking becomes the only way to get a whole trichome head sharp.
Two conventions. Say how the shot was taken, meaning lens or phone, magnification, light source and whether it is stacked or edited, because the method is the useful part of the post. And a photograph posted for diagnosis belongs in the Plant Infirmary rather than here, under white light and with the numbers attached.
