How to Use
Sphagnum Peat Moss can serve as the primary component of your growing medium, or be blended with perlite, vermiculite, or coco coir to fine-tune properties.
Recommended mixes:
- 60% Peat Moss + 30% Perlite + 10% Vermiculite (general purpose)
- 50% Peat Moss + 50% Perlite (high drainage)
- Adjust pH upward with Dolomite Lime as needed
Important Notes
- Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight
- Pre-soak before use to ensure full water absorption
- Use with calcium-magnesium supplements to compensate for low mineral content
- Monitor and adjust pH of your nutrient solution when using peat-based media
