Translator’s note: In Thailand and Southeast Asia, most growroom problems come from heat, humidity and the power supply. Rooms often reach 30–35 °C, and rainy-season humidity raises the risk of mould. For that reason, plan cooling and dehumidifying before anything else (sizing a dehumidifier and air-conditioner). Mains power here is nominally 220–230 V. Have a qualified electrician check that your wiring and breakers can carry the lights, fans and air-conditioner together. Power cuts are common, so record the room temperature the next time the power goes off. That shows you how fast the room heats up without fans and cooling.
