This subcategory is for honest, detailed reviews of cannabis strains you have grown, or used as a medical patient. Each review helps other growers pick seeds or clones that suit their conditions. It also helps them avoid strains that have failed for someone else.
What to Include in a Review
- Strain name, breeder or seed bank (the company that sells the seed), and genetic lineage (the parent strains it was crossed from; see breeder vocabulary). This shows readers whether they are buying the same plant you grew.
- Growing conditions: indoor or outdoor, the growing medium (soil, coco or another root substrate), nutrients, and light cycle (hours of light per day). With these, readers can judge whether your result will repeat in their setup.
- Flowering time, yield, and plant structure (height, branching, bud density). Other growers use these to plan their crop calendar, spacing and room height.
- Aroma, flavor, and the main aroma compounds. These compounds are called terpenes. Name the ones that are strongest. This helps readers check that their plant matches the strain description.
- Effects and potency (if applicable — medical context only, as Thai law requires). This lets patients and their doctors compare notes.
- Lab results or COA data if available. A COA (certificate of analysis) is the lab report on cannabinoid and contaminant levels. How to read one. Lab numbers are more reliable than impressions.
- Photos of the grow and final product. Readers can compare plant shape and spot pests or disease.
Translator’s note: Give the months you grew and the season (dry or rainy). Also give day and night temperatures and humidity. Many strains bred for cooler climates stretch or grow mould at 30–35 °C and in rainy-season humidity. Your numbers show whether a strain can handle Thai conditions.
Translator’s note: Say where your seed or clone came from. Clones from another farm can bring in pests, the wrong strain, or hop latent viroid (HLVd), a plant disease that often shows no symptoms at first. If you suspect any of these, write it in your review. That way, others can check their own source.

Guidelines
Be specific and honest — both positive and negative observations are valuable. A failed run can save someone else a whole season. Use numbers where you can: write the days to harvest, not “fast”.
