Welcome to Cannabis Photography

Welcome to the Cannabis Photography category! This is the place to share your best cannabis photos: plants, flowers, gardens, trichome close-ups (shots of the tiny resin glands on the flower) and cannabis-inspired art. Post your work so other growers can see your results and learn how you took each shot.

Topics to discuss

  • Share photos of your cannabis plants and flowers
  • Macro photography (very close shots that show details too small to see by eye) and trichome photography techniques
  • Camera gear and lighting setups for plant photography
  • Before and after harvest shots
  • Indoor and outdoor garden photography
  • Cannabis-inspired art and design

Before you post

Please share only images you own or have permission to use, and follow the Asiannabis community guidelines.

Translator’s note: Phone photos often store the place where they were taken. This location (GPS) data is saved inside the image file, in a part called EXIF. Before you upload, turn off location in your camera settings or remove it from the photo’s details. Also crop out faces, house numbers and vehicle plates. This stops strangers from finding your grow through a photo, which matters most if you grow at home.

Translator’s note: Under Thailand’s Notification of the Ministry of Public Health Re: Controlled Herbs (Cannabis), B.E. 2568, cannabis flower is a controlled herb, and advertising and online sale of flower are prohibited. Do not use photos here to offer flower for sale or to promote it, and leave out prices and contact details. To see what you can and cannot post, read Advertising and Selling Rules for Cannabis in Thailand.

Your first post

Open a new topic and post one photo. Add the strain name, the plant’s age in weeks and the camera or phone you used. With these details, other members can compare their results with yours and tell you what to change for your next shot.
