Published research on cannabis and the endocannabinoid system, and the slower work of reading it properly: what a study design can and cannot establish, where a finding in cell culture stops, and why popular summaries of this field so often overstate them.
Papers, preprints, trial registrations and review articles belong here, ideally with a link to the source rather than to a news report about it. Summaries in a member’s own words are welcome; a summary presented as the paper’s conclusion when it is not is the thing this sub-board exists to catch.
Two habits are worth adopting before posting. Name the design, because a case report, an observational study and a randomised controlled trial support very different sentences, and most disagreements here dissolve once that is on the table. And separate the mechanism from the outcome: a plausible pathway shown in tissue is a reason to run a trial rather than a reason to expect a result.
