Grow Diaries: Documenting a Run from Seed to Cure

Grows documented from start to finish, in one thread each, by the person running them. Not a gallery and not a question board: the value here is the sequence, where a decision on one day is visible next to what happened a week later.

A diary is the most useful thing an inexperienced grower can produce, because it converts a vague memory of a season into a record other people can read and argue with. It is also the fastest way to get a good answer, since a problem posted with three weeks of context behind it is far easier to diagnose than the same photograph posted alone.

Two things make a diary worth reading. Write the setup once at the top, meaning genetics, substrate, pot size, light and wattage, room and target climate, and feed line, and then do not make the reader reconstruct it from later posts. And record the numbers as well as the photographs, with dates: source water, input and runoff readings, temperature and humidity, and what was changed on the day it was changed.

There are no reference articles in this sub-board yet, and there is nothing to read until the first diaries are written, which is the point of it.
