General Discussion: Introductions, Forum Rules and Asian Cannabis News

This board is the front door of Asiannabis. A board is a section of the forum for one topic. Post here to introduce yourself, to share regional news, or to ask a question that does not fit any other board yet. This is also where you will find the community’s own rules, history and terms.

Asiannabis is read in nine languages. Every article is written once in English. It is then translated into Thai, Vietnamese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Korean and German. The language switcher at the top of the page changes the whole page, not just the menus. People translate the articles by hand, so if a translation reads wrong, say so in the thread.

Two habits make your threads useful, so other members do not have to guess what you mean. First, say where you are and what you are trying to do. Nearly every practical answer on this site, legal or about growing, depends on your country’s law and your local climate. Your introduction is more useful if it gives:

  • your country and province or region;
  • whether you grow indoors, in a greenhouse or outdoors;
  • whether you work on a licensed farm or grow at home;
  • what you want to do or the problem you want to solve.

Second, post specialised questions on the board for that subject, because that is where the people who can answer them are reading. For example, post a sick plant in Plant Infirmary and a licence question in Licensing and Compliance.

The forum does not host sales of cannabis, advertising of cannabis, or content aimed at countries where cannabis is prohibited. The guidelines below give the full rules.

Translator’s note: In Thailand, cannabis flower is a controlled herb under the Notification of the Ministry of Public Health Re: Controlled Herbs (Cannabis), B.E. 2568, in force since 26 June 2025. Advertising and online sale of flower are prohibited. Do not post prices, offers or “message me to buy” lines for flower anywhere on the forum, including in your introduction.

Where to start

Read the community guidelines first. Then post your introduction with the four details listed above.
